Description

You will execute and manage new configuration introductions into the production area, perform process development and validation, and triage test failures to improve yield and performance. This role supports the manufacturing of optical assemblies for the Starlink satellite system.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years experience in hands-on manufacturing environment or bachelor's in engineering, math, or science
• Ability to read detailed schematics and instructions
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage new configuration introduction into production area
• Perform process development and validation on new designs
• First-level triage of test failures by reading test logs and telemetry
• Assess non-conforming hardware and drive resolution and preventative actions
• Design and implement assembly fixtures to improve manufacturing process
