Description

You will maintain and service automation equipment and machinery in the warehouse, managing preventive maintenance, repairs, and setups to ensure smooth operations. You'll collaborate with the operations team on maintenance schedules, inspections, and training, contributing to a top-tier client experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years performing repairs and maintenance on packaging equipment or related machinery
• 2-year technical degree (required)
• Flexible work schedule to allow for support outside of normal working hours, including occasional late afternoons and weekends
• Basic understanding of PLC operation, VFD operation, vision systems (Cognex preferred), and automated warehouse systems
• Proficient in Google or Microsoft word processing and spreadsheets

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs, maintenance, and morning startup on packaging equipment, conveyors, air compressors, and other automated systems
• Utilize controls software to diagnose complex automation issues
• Lead root cause analysis investigations and drive equipment performance
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing, including entering CMMS work order notes and training operation associates
• Use CMMS to maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and inventory
• Manage, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and rebuilds
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all spare parts, supplies, and consumables
• Facilitate vendor relationships and serve as the point of contact for remote support interventions and vendor visits
• Perform electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical tests to determine root cause of failures
