Description

You will develop and launch ML algorithms powering Lyft's core services, including marketplace, mapping, safety, and personalization. You'll partner with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to apply machine learning for business and user impact, working with petabyte-scale data to build next-generation transportation solutions.

Requirements

• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related quantitative field
• 5+ years of Machine Learning experience
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or other programming language
• Strong understanding of ML methodologies: supervised learning, forecasting, recommendation systems, reinforcement learning, multi-armed bandits
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to apply ML for business and user impact
• Perform data analysis and build proof-of-concept ML solutions
• Develop statistical, ML, or optimization models
• Write production quality code to launch ML models at scale
• Evaluate ML systems against business goals
