Description

You will own production for foundational services supporting a new R&D game, managing scope, delivery, and operational health across engineering teams. This role combines development and live operations, including incident management, service reviews, and coordination with internal and external partners.

Requirements

• 6+ years producing live services, backend systems, or platform tech in games or large-scale software
• Proven experience owning production for services at game-wide or platform scale
• Strong experience with operational reviews and incident management in live environment
• Demonstrated ability to use dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics
• Deep familiarity with Agile and JIRA for managing scope, dependencies, and delivery

Responsibilities

• Manage backlogs, scope, schedules, and delivery for core backend services
• Drive Agile practices: sprint planning, prioritization, velocity tracking, dependency management
• Maintain work visibility in JIRA, tracking epics, stories, risks, and dependencies
• Lead operational review cadences and incident management processes
• Facilitate postmortems and retrospectives, driving process improvements
