You'll own the production operating budget and build unit-economic models for Base's residential battery storage system, partnering with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to drive cost-down decisions. Your work will directly enable scaling the world's lowest cost hardware.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own production operating budget with BOM cost, conversion cost, overhead, labor, and capex
  • Build and maintain unit-economic models for hardware cost trajectories
  • Drive capital deployment with ROI/NPV for tooling and automation
  • Run monthly production and materials variance analysis with Operations and Supply Chain
  • Translate supplier negotiations into financial impact and track cost-down opportunities

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 5+ years in manufacturing finance, operations finance, or plant FP&A at a hardware company
  • Built and owned unit-economic and BOM-cost models in production
  • Fluent in standard cost, variance analysis, and conversion cost concepts
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling; SQL fluency

  • Experience in energy, EVs, aerospace, or complex assemblies
  • NetSuite ERP experience
