Description

You will oversee daily lab operations, manage staff performance and training, ensure compliance with CLIA/CAP guidelines, and collaborate with senior management to meet quality objectives. Your role includes staffing, scheduling, resolving issues, and maintaining team morale.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Medical Technology or related field (Physical, Chemical, Biological Sciences)
• 4+ years CLIA lab experience (or 5 years with BS/BA, or 3 years with Master's)
• Experience supervising lab staff
• Knowledge of CLIA/CAP regulations
• HIPAA compliance training within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab staffing, scheduling, and sample run plans
• Ensure production meets department goals and all case samples are processed
• Monitor adherence to SOPs and safety procedures
• Train new hires and manage staff performance reviews
• Document nonconformance and corrective actions, escalate issues, assist with CAPAs
