Description
You will lead the Agentic Foundations team at 84.51°, designing and maintaining the enterprise agentic backbone including platforms, patterns, and tools. You'll guide teams, drive technical strategy, and ensure reliable, scalable AI agent systems for Kroger.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience with cloud-based software architecture (scalability, performance, reliability).
- 7+ years experience with end-to-end SDLC using CI/CD and AIOps/MLOps.
- 7+ years experience with large-scale AI/ML systems including 2+ years with GenAI and deep learning.
- Professional experience with production-grade agentic systems (design, evals, deployment, monitoring).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, OpenAI SDK, LangChain, autogen).
- Experience with AIOps/MLOps (MLflow, Model Registry, Model Monitoring).
- Experience scaling and deploying AI/ML on Azure and Google Cloud (CI/CD, containerization, orchestration, API development with FastAPI).
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm.
- Experience with Python.
- Experience with Terraform.
- Experience leading technical teams and consulting with customers.
- Skilled in partnering with product management.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management to lead the enterprise agentic space.
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, guiding design and development.
- Lead hiring efforts including interviews and guides.
- Own and manage offshore reliability engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise-grade agent solutions.
- Ensure operational reliability, observability, and incident management.
- Maintain expertise on agentic workflows and frameworks.
- Foster collaborative team environment and professional growth.
- Reduce development time using agentic SDLC tooling.
- Abstract tooling to user-friendly interfaces (APIs, Python packages, UIs).
- Understand business requirements and balance scale, risk, accuracy.
- Guide teams to follow software development standards.
- Make time-sensitive decisions and solve urgent problems.
