💼 About This Role

You'll design and build autonomous AI agents for Toast's Team area, part of the Fintech line of business, using LLMs and agentic frameworks. Your work will transform how restaurant owners manage their workforce. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to ship cutting-edge solutions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and ship Team Agent products using LLMs and agentic frameworks
• Flex full-stack development skills on challenging end-to-end tasks
• Partner with product managers and engineers to build autonomous agents
• Adopt and advocate for spec-driven and agentic development practices

📋 Requirements

• Strong foundation in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented language
• Experience with modern web standards like React, TypeScript, REST, GraphQL
• Experience or strong interest in using coding agents and agentic development
• Passion for building autonomous agents and working with LLMs

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing agentic products
• Experience with event-driven distributed systems
• Solid understanding of workforce management or restaurant operations
