💼 About This Role

You'll manage and scale a highly available database infrastructure handling up to 2 PB of data and 100,000 operations per second. You'll make database architecture decisions, optimize performance, and improve reliability. You'll collaborate closely with DevOps, Security, and Software Engineering teams.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Monitor database health and troubleshoot issues
• Design and develop infrastructure on GCP
• Support developers and QAs on technical issues
• Participate in database restructuring and schema design

📋 Requirements

• Experience as a Site Reliability Engineer on GCP or other cloud platforms
• Proficiency in administering MySQL server
• Knowledge of MySQL backup solutions and replication principles
• Understanding of performance, query, and index optimization

✨ Nice to Have

• Programming experience with Python, Golang, or Shell
• Experience with other databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Redis
• Understanding of load balancers, DNS, networking, or client-side drivers
