Description

You will join the Site Reliability Engineering team at ClickHouse Core to improve reliability, availability, scalability, and performance of ClickHouse. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, own engineering escalation management, and drive continuous improvement of cloud operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years experience in Reliability Engineering, QA, or customer-facing engineering
• Experience operating ClickHouse or other SQL databases in production
• Scripting with Shell or Python; ability to read C++ code
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP

Responsibilities

• Improve reliability and performance of ClickHouse core
• Create metrics and alerts to prevent production issues
• Identify root causes of common customer problems and submit fixes or improvements
• Enhance incident response and post-mortem analysis for core outages
• Manage on-call processes and coordinate escalation to minimize customer impact
