Description

You will lead a team building the data platform for machine learning at Roblox, defining vision and strategy for AI-driven products. You'll collaborate with AI engineering and product teams to deliver scalable data solutions, including vector databases and knowledge graphs.

Requirements

• 5+ years management experience, 8+ years building large-scale data platforms or ML infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, Flink, Kafka
• Skilled at driving technical strategy in ambiguous environments
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a high-performing team of software engineers
• Define roadmap, strategy, and execution plan for the GenAI Platform
• Collaborate with AI engineering and product teams to understand data needs
• Drive architectural decisions for reliability, scalability, and performance
• Oversee end-to-end development life cycle and deliver robust data solutions
