Description

You will serve as a technical point of contact for assigned parts and assemblies, drive improvements in manufacturing methods, and manage supplier quality challenges to mitigate risk. You'll partner with procurement, conduct design for manufacturing reviews, and drive root cause resolution on part issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years experience in regulated industry (Aerospace, Medical, Automotive, or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
• Prior experience in a supplier quality role
• Proficiency with GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact for assigned parts and assemblies, solving supplier quality challenges
• Own production components end-to-end, driving improvements in manufacturing methods and developing rate-ramp processes
• Conduct DFM reviews and partner with procurement to vet suppliers
• Author and flow down specifications to suppliers, scope forming/cutting/inspection technologies
• Drive root cause resolution on part issues and lead containment activities
