💼 About This Role

You'll own build procedures for aerospace hardware at Amca, developing qualification prototypes and iterating toward production-ready manufacturing. You'll conduct hands-on R&D to improve component processes and enable new manufacturing methods while working closely with design engineers on design for manufacturability. This role offers the chance to shape cutting-edge aerospace production from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Develop build methodology and conduct R&D on manufacturing processes
  • Oversee assembly and manufacturing procedures for hardware
  • Own DFM changes to part drawings to eliminate repeat failures
  • Write specifications for manufacturing best practices based on real data

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in aerospace/mechanical/manufacturing engineering
  • 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, design, test, or development
  • Strong understanding of engineering first principles (thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, solid mechanics)

✨ Nice to Have

  • 2+ years of professional experience in aerospace/mechanical engineering
  • Experience with GD&T concepts
  • Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific languages
