You will design and develop tools and factory automation equipment for Terran R rocket production, collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to create functional, high-quality hardware. Your work directly enables scalable rocket manufacturing, from large structural fixtures to custom machines.

Requirements

• High level of innovation and ingenuity in design
• Ability to interpret and apply sound design and drafting standards
• Experience with material handling, assembly fixtures, and custom machines
• Close collaboration with component designers and manufacturing engineers
• Project management skills for vendor and fabrication oversight

Responsibilities

• Develop production tooling and automation solutions for Terran R and Aeon engine programs
• Integrate mechanical design and analysis concepts across multiple projects
• Apply ASME Y14.5 drafting standards to create tooling drawings
• Handle technical problems related to material handling, assembly fixtures, test fixtures, and custom machines
• Manage vendor selection, fabrication, inspection, and equipment delivery
