💼 About This Role

You'll monitor and analyze customer activity in Fastly's Customer Security Operations Center, focusing on application-layer security like account-takeover and WAF administration. Your work will protect customers against Internet-scale threats using our edge cloud platform. This role offers the chance to work on distributed systems handling 10 million requests per second.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Respond to security issues and ensure customer security
• Provide deep application-security experience on escalated cases
• Carry out continuous-improvement work research
• Create review reporting and manage security content for customers

📋 Requirements

• SOC experience
• Experience with SaaS/Cloud or hybrid cloud deployments
• Scripting ability with Python, Java, Go, or other languages
• Strong application security knowledge

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of DNS, HTTP, and TLS
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Business proficiency in Japanese
