💼 About This Role
You'll be the voice of the operator within our Command Control platform, leading user research, prototyping, and interface design for real-time mission and telemetry systems. You'll shape how defense operators interact with autonomous systems, making complexity usable under pressure. You will drive user research with operators and develop scalable Figma design systems.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Conduct interviews and usability studies with operators to map workflows.
- Translate mission requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
- Develop and maintain scalable Figma component libraries.
- Partner with Frontend Engineering to validate usability and fidelity.
📋 Requirements
- 5+ years in UX design for complex, data-heavy systems.
- Figma proficiency with component libraries and design systems.
- Geospatial UI design experience.
- Portfolio demonstrating workflow simplification in mission-critical interfaces.
✨ Nice to Have
- Experience in aerospace, trading, defense, or healthcare.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
- Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or Human Factors degree.
