Description

You will support launch and production operations at SpaceX's Cape Canaveral facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations while enabling an aggressive launch cadence. You'll develop and maintain environmental programs, conduct audits, and collaborate with engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with emphasis in environmental engineering preferred
• 2+ years experience in environmental and regulatory compliance programs
• Experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve environmental programs at Cape Canaveral location
• Maintain compliance with EPA, FDEP, CERCLA, RCRA, DOT and other regulations
• Track and interpret new environmental laws and provide guidance to management
• Perform environmental audits to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain operational compliance plans including SWPPP, spill prevention, and waste discharge permits
