Description

In this role, you will support the sales team by drafting professional drawings to complete transformer orders, using homegrown tools and a CAD library. You'll also assist production by designing parts for custom modifications and remanufacturing. You'll collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate specifications and play a key role in reviewing and preventing costly mistakes.

Requirements

• CAD experience required
• Proficient with spreadsheets
• Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
• Comfortable with prolonged computer work and occasional hands-on tasks

Responsibilities

• Draft detailed transformer drawings for customer orders
• Design custom enclosures, interconnects, and sheet metal panels
• Review transformer specifications to catch and prevent mistakes
• Collaborate with production team on modifications and repairs
• Maintain and improve workflow processes and tools
