💼 About This Role

You'll join Palantir's Design Team to craft the human experience of data-driven software for government, commercial, and philanthropic users. Your core impact will be shaping product concepts, workflows, and visual design while collaborating closely with engineers on prototyping and user research. You'll have great autonomy and the chance to specialize in areas like frontend engineering or detailed user research.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead design sprints and define product concepts with your team.
• Design micro-interactions and high-level workflows for complex tasks.
• Create and maintain flexible, reusable UI components.
• Visit customer offices to conduct informal user research and interviews.

📋 Requirements

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
• Portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project.
• Experience with mockup and prototyping tools like Sketch, Framer, or Figma.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand frontend technologies.

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript, or Typescript.
• Experience with user research methods like contextual inquiry.
