Description

You will lead cost accounting activities in a cutting-edge defense manufacturing environment, building and refining the transactional backbone that supports production ramp. You'll work hands-on with inventory, costing, and cross-functional teams to ensure financial data reflects operational reality.

Requirements

• 5+ years progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing or R&D environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with ERP experience
• High accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume environments

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing cost accounting including standard costing, month-end close, and inventory management
• Execute high-volume cost accounting across materials, labor, overhead, WIP, and finished goods
• Conduct variance analysis and partner cross-functionally to implement corrective actions
• Prepare inventory journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure subledger-GL alignment
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and FP&A to validate BOMs, routings, and cost inputs
