Description

You will build and scale foundational infrastructure for Brex's core experiences, including notifications, collaborative commenting, and dynamic workflow rules. You'll tackle full-stack challenges, from designing scalable APIs to crafting intuitive frontend interfaces, and help evolve task orchestration into purpose-built solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience designing and deploying full-stack products
• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Java, Kotlin, Python)
• Experience with scalable distributed systems
• Experience designing and optimizing SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with RESTful APIs or GraphQL and modern frontend (ES6+, React, TypeScript)

Responsibilities

• Build new features and products end-to-end
• Own problems from UX to data models, scalability, and metrics
• Provide technical leadership and drive roadmap direction
• Work with user-facing teams to understand customer needs
• Identify and implement reliability and performance improvements
