Description

You will define multi-year ML technical strategy, lead design and scaling of advanced ML systems, partner with cross-functional leadership, mentor senior engineers, and drive operational excellence at Affirm.

Requirements

• 10+ years experience in large-scale real-time ML systems
• Experience leading end-to-end ML system design
• Proficient in Python, PyTorch, XGBoost
• Experience with distributed frameworks (Spark, Ray)
• Deep expertise in neural network sequence modeling (Transformers, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-year, multi-team technical strategy for machine learning
• Lead design, implementation, and scaling of advanced ML systems
• Partner with leadership to shape ML capabilities and infrastructure
• Mentor senior engineers and elevate design and code quality
• Champion operational excellence and system reliability
