You'll own and maintain a modern cloud-based data platform focused on EV repair cost intelligence, working across backend engineering, AWS infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics. You'll help a lean, collaborative team improve reliability and scalability for insurers and automotive organisations. This role offers significant autonomy and responsibility from day one in a remote-first environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Maintain AWS data pipelines and backend systems.
• Run monthly ingestion workflows using AWS services.
• Improve Python codebase and backend services.
• Support analytics dashboard and API delivery.
• Perform data quality validation and troubleshooting.

📋 Requirements

• 2–5+ years of software/data engineering experience.
• Strong Python development in production environments.
• AWS experience with S3, Lambda, Glue, Athena, Step Functions.
• SQL skills working with large datasets.
• Experience building data pipelines and ETL workflows.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience supporting analytics dashboards.
• Familiarity with serverless architecture.
• Experience with SFTP-based ingestion pipelines.
• Knowledge of automotive or insurance data platforms.
