💼 About This Role

You'll provide peer support services to individuals with mental illness and/or substance use disorder, emphasizing service connection and recovery coaching. You'll co-facilitate groups and workshops that promote social connection and wellness. This role combines office work with community outreach in the Tenderloin.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Provide peer support and manage a caseload of participants.
• Complete intake screenings, service plans, and progress notes.
• Co-facilitate at least five groups or workshops per week.
• Connect participants to internal and external resources.

📋 Requirements

• Lived experience with substance use recovery and/or mental health challenges.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in peer support, case management, or outreach with marginalized communities.
• Must hold Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist certification in California.
• Strong knowledge of SF resources for substance use treatment and recovery.

✨ Nice to Have

• Registered substance use disorder counselor or BBS registered AMFT/ASW.
• Bilingual proficiency in Cantonese, Spanish, Vietnamese, or Farsi.
• Experience with Salesforce and ONE System.
