💼 About This Role

You'll build and operate the cloud-based data platform for a mission-driven aquaculture technology company. You'll develop robust data pipelines, optimize data models and SQL queries, and ensure AI applications scale reliably for a growing fleet of remote cameras. This role offers the chance to work on hard infrastructure challenges and design secure network architectures between cloud platforms and IoT devices, all within a fast-paced, customer-driven startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and operate cloud-based data platform with robust data pipelines
• Optimize data models and SQL queries for scalability
• Design secure network architectures between cloud and IoT devices
• Ensure AI applications scale reliably for remote camera fleet

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Python or Go
• 5+ years with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and deployment (AWS, Docker)
• Experience with cloud networking and security (VPC, DNS, VPN, PKI)
• Strong software engineering skills with best practices, testing, and deployment

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing and operating distributed systems
• Strong data analytics, modeling, and ML skills
• Experience in managing IoT devices
