💼 About This Role

You'll own critical infrastructure decisions and build platforms that other teams rely on at Fieldguide, a remote-first company automating audit and assurance work. Your work directly enables trust and compliance for our customers. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of business trust and audit automation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain core platform infrastructure
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Own major architectural decisions and long-term technical direction
• Monitor and improve system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple AWS services
• Skilled in provisioning cloud services using Terraform
• Proficiency in designing monitoring and alerting solutions with Datadog or CloudWatch
• Experience in security and regulatory compliance environments (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with GraphQL as a database front-end API
• Experience with database system architecture (e.g., Postgres)
• Experience working with AI and providing it as a tool for engineers
