Description

In this internship, you will use scripting languages like SKILL within Cadence Design software to automate repetitive tasks in the design process, such as layout generation, component placement, routing functions, and design rule verification checks. You will also integrate Cadence with other tools and document your scripts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or related field
• Minimum 6 months experience with SKILL scripting language
• Knowledge of EDA design principles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Attention to detail and focus on efficient solutions

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKILL scripts for automation
• Integrate Cadence with other tools for simulation and analysis
• Document script functions and processes
• Interact with package design and layout engineers
