Description

You will support asset management and entity management matters, assisting attorneys within the StepStone Legal team primarily for the Real Estate asset class. Your role involves coordinating investment transactions from inception to closing, managing KYC/AML processes, and improving legal operations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate university degree
• 2+ years' paralegal and/or funds operational experience, preferably in private markets
• Excellent communication skills
• Effective time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist legal team in all phases of investment transactions from inception to closing
• Complete and review AML/KYC and FATCA/CRS profiles for funds and clients
• Lead subscription document completion for private markets fund investments
• Negotiate confidentiality agreements
• Organize and maintain legal closing documents and corporate records
