Description

You will lead a major platform modernization, migrating complex legacy enterprise web applications to a modern stack using NestJS, React/TypeScript, and Temporal.io. You'll work directly with Claude Code as a core AI-assisted engineering tool, owning end-to-end module rewrites while ensuring backwards compatibility. This role spans full-stack development, cloud DevOps, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years professional software engineering with production system delivery
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, and NestJS experience
• Solid React experience building complex data-driven applications
• Relational database and ORM proficiency, MSSQL strongly preferred
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hands-on DevOps with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy enterprise web app to NestJS, React/TypeScript, Temporal.io with MSSQL compatibility
• Use Claude Code to generate, refactor, and validate code while making architectural decisions
• Full-stack development across JavaScript, Python, NestJS, React, TypeScript, TypeORM, MSSQL
• Migrate legacy process flows to Temporal.io including long-running processes and human task queues
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger, deploy on AWS/Azure/GCP with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes
