You'll design and build AI-native engineering workflows and high-quality API services for Life360's international expansion. Your core impact is bringing peace-of-mind platform features to millions of families globally, shaping scalable backend solutions with modern cloud-native technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build high-quality API services for international adaptation.
• Orchestrate AI agents (Claude Code) for specs, code, tests, and reviews.
• Define and codify AI-Native engineering practices for the team.
• Build across the full stack, delivering scalable experiences to millions of users.

📋 Requirements

• Backend experience with Spring Boot microservices and Java.
• Experience with Kafka and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in cloud-native platforms on AWS.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience (staff level).

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with AI coding assistants like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience building user-facing products for international markets.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and remote-first teams.
