You'll design and build backend services for a managed Postgres experience inside Snowflake, focusing on provisioning, lifecycle management, and security. You'll improve reliability and observability of asynchronous workflows that keep the service healthy. This role offers significant ownership in a strategic product area expanding Snowflake into transactional workloads.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend services for provisioning and lifecycle management
• Develop features in the access and user model
• Improve reliability, observability, and operability of asynchronous workflows
• Investigate production issues and drive fixes to improve resilience

📋 Requirements

• 2+ years building production software in backend or distributed systems
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, or Python
• Strong computer science fundamentals in concurrency, networking, APIs, and data structures
• Experience designing and operating reliable services in production

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL or managed database platforms
• Experience with identity, authorization, or RBAC systems
• Experience with cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
