Description

You will provide occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric clients in their homes, conducting evaluations, developing care plans, and educating patients and families to promote independence and safety. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team using a touch pad tablet for documentation.

Requirements

• Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license
• Minimum one year recent work experience as an OT
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated territories
• Perform thorough evaluations of functional status and ADL/IADL performance
• Develop and revise individualized intervention plans
• Evaluate home environment for hazards and recommend adaptations
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care
