💼 About This Role

You'll build and lead Leland's entire revenue organization, spanning B2B and consumer sales, as the first Head of Sales. You'll close high-value deals with employers and universities while hiring and mentoring a high-performing team. This player-coach role defines go-to-market strategy and shapes how Leland sells for years to come.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Carry a personal book of business and close complex B2B deals
  • Design and document end-to-end B2B sales process and playbooks
  • Build sales operations infrastructure: CRM, pipeline reporting, forecasting
  • Lead and grow a team spanning B2B and consumer sales channels

📋 Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience with progression to sales leader
  • Demonstrated success selling to employers, corporations, or universities
  • Experience building sales operations: CRM, pipeline reporting, forecasting
  • Has built and led sales teams in a startup or growth-stage environment

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with HubSpot CRM
  • Background in edtech or coaching platforms
  • Experience scaling a sales org from 0 to 10+ reps
