💼 About This Role

You'll design high-performance building systems for commercial and institutional projects across hospitality, recreation, education, and healthcare. You'll lead mechanical design from concept through construction within an integrated design studio. This role offers increasing technical responsibility and mentorship to develop senior career skills.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and heating/cooling systems
• Lead mechanical design from schematic phase through construction documents
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and structural engineers
• Develop Revit models and engineering drawings for mechanical systems

📋 Requirements

• P.Eng. or P.L.(Eng.) licensure (or eligibility)
• 6-12 years of experience designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Proficient with Revit and load calculation tools such as Carrier HAP or Trane TRACE
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE 62.1, ASHRAE 90.1, and National Building Code of Canada

• Experience with construction administration processes
• Familiarity with energy modelling and value engineering
