Description

You will own the development, production, and operation of an engine combustor from concept through flight operations, driving design changes and managing hardware for the most advanced full flow staged combustion engine.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in engineering
• 4+ years with rocket/jet engine or high-pressure fluid systems
• Proficiency in compressible flow, combustion, heat transfer, thermodynamics
• Experience designing combustor injector elements
• Experience with CAD (Siemens NX or Solidworks) and GD&T

Responsibilities

• Own combustor design, requirements, production, and performance
• Drive design changes for reliability, simplification, and performance
• Manage hardware from concept through testing and production
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and hold teammates accountable
• Conduct anomaly reviews and iterate designs from test data
