Description

As the Lead Technician at a rocket engine test site, you will lead a team of mechanical and electrical technicians in operating, maintaining, and upgrading test facilities. You will configure, troubleshoot, and repair engines and components, and plan team activities in coordination with logistics and engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years technical hands-on experience, 2+ years in leadership
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Experience with hazardous systems (cryogenics, pyrophorics, explosive atmospheres)
• Experience with high-pressure gas systems (assembly, commissioning, leak checking)
• Proficiency in maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of electricians and technicians, overseeing daily activities
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance in team activities
• Manage maintenance and calibration of facilities and equipment
• Create and update operational procedures for testing and maintenance
• Support troubleshooting of test facility and engine issues
