Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist at SpaceX, you will manage equipment, train technicians, and optimize processes to build Starlink avionics at high rate and quality. You'll work with a world-class team to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement on aggressive timelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma + 2 years hands-on manufacturing experience, or bachelor's in engineering/math/science
• 2+ years SMT or PCBA process engineering experience
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to work 2nd shift (3:30PM-1:30AM), overtime, and weekends
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods

Responsibilities

• Execute new product introduction builds across work centers
• Program, load, and operate automated equipment
• Design custom fixtures for PCBA to ensure efficient process flow
• Train technicians to run/troubleshoot complex machines
• Optimize SMT process yield through design of experiments
