Description
You will coach basketball camps and clinics for the Washington Wizards' youth program, teaching both basketball and life skills to children ages 6-17. You will supervise participants, serve as a role model, and implement our curriculum at summer camps.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 2+ years basketball coaching or playing (college or above) experience
- Experience directing full-day basketball camps
- Experience working with children ages 6-17
- First aid, CPR and AED certification or willingness to obtain
Responsibilities
- Supervise camp and clinic participants
- Ensure general well-being of all students
- Serve as a role model to young students
- Attend scheduled staff meetings and trainings
- Implement curriculum and mission confidently
