Description

You will lead commercialization for Interstellar Lab's AI-powered autonomous greenhouse systems, driving sales of BioPods and services to large enterprises in cosmetics, fragrance, and pharma, while also cultivating a separate pipeline for microgravity plant research collaborations in space. You'll own end-to-end commercial strategy, report directly to the CEO, and have a path to become Chief Commercial Officer.

Requirements

  • 7+ years B2B sales leadership in cosmetics, fragrance, nutraceuticals, pharma, or plant-derived ingredients
  • Demonstrated success closing complex seven-figure+ deals with Fortune 500-level companies
  • Established C-level network in target industries and ability to engage R&D leaders
  • Experience owning commercial P&L and scaling revenue from $5M to $20M in tech-enabled settings
  • Bachelor's in Business, Life Sciences, Plant Biology, Agronomy, or related field; MBA a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategy for Earth-based BioPod deployments, securing large-scale contracts
  • Cultivate space-program pipeline for microgravity plant science experiments
  • Qualify leads, negotiate, and close complex deals for BioPod hardware and research partnerships
  • Maintain segmented pipeline and deliver revenue forecasts with KPIs split by Earth and space tracks
  • Represent company at targeted industry events for Earth and space opportunities
