You will manage solid waste contracts, track expenditures, support budget development, and collaborate with internal divisions to improve waste management programs. Your work ensures efficient contract performance and strategic alignment with city goals.

Requirements

• Master's degree in public administration, business administration, accounting, or related field
• 4 years experience in process analysis and functional area (budget/finance or research)
• Preferred: 4 years experience in environmental programs or solid waste management
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Smartsheet, PeopleSoft

Responsibilities

• Manage solid waste contracts (residential collection, recycling, landfill, cart management)
• Track and analyze expenditures, prepare ad-hoc reports and documentation
• Participate in annual budget development, monitor expenses, recommend adjustments
• Develop working relationships with contractors, vendors, and external organizations
• Direct data analysis, KPI reporting, and performance dashboard development
