Description

You will focus on finding and responding to security vulnerabilities across the Brex platform by performing code reviews, design reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability management. You'll develop and maintain tooling for static and dynamic testing and support secure developer workflows. This role offers the opportunity to influence and secure AI-driven financial services.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Application Security or related role
• Ability to find vulnerabilities in complex systems and demonstrate business impact via custom attack chains
• Experience with secure development activities including threat modeling, developer education, and incident response
• Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, and AI/agentic workflows
• Collaborative mindset with strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities, demonstrate business impact, and articulate risk to drive prioritization
• Perform penetration testing and design reviews for vulnerabilities and insecure designs
• Maintain and build internal tools for SAST and DAST testing and secure development
• Build a culture of collaborative security excellence through technical leadership and mentorship
