💼 About This Role

You'll oversee day-to-day accounting operations and lead month-end close for a nonprofit focused on closing the racial wealth gap. Your work ensures accurate financial reporting and supports audit readiness across consolidated entities. This fully remote role offers the chance to drive system improvements in Sage Intacct.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for bank, credit card, investment, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with year-end close and audit preparation including schedules and documentation.
• Support maintenance and optimization of Sage Intacct and other financial systems.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience.
• Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Sage Intacct experience required.

✨ Nice to Have

• CPA or CPA-track.
• Experience with Ramp or similar expense management software.
• Familiarity with Asana, Notion, or Salesforce.
