Description

You will design and integrate electrical harnesses for LEO satellite systems, ensuring reliable power and data transfer. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop harness specifications, create detailed drawings, and support fabrication and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical harness design for aerospace or space applications
• Proficiency with CAD tools: Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault
• Familiarity with harness design standards and schematic capture tools
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical harnesses for LEO satellite systems considering mission requirements, space constraints, thermal considerations, and EMC
• Collaborate with system, electrical, and mechanical engineers to define harness specifications
• Create and manage detailed harness drawings using CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, Vault)
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC-WHMA-A-620, ECSS-E-HB-10-10) and space agency requirements
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of harnesses
