💼 About This Role
You'll develop mission-critical applications for SpaceX's launch vehicles and Starlink, working on flight reliability systems that manage engineering changes and mitigate risks. You'll own challenging problems end-to-end, building software that directly enables human exploration of space. Aerospace experience is not required—just strong engineering skills and a passion for the mission.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Develop highly reliable software solutions used across SpaceX
- Create new applications that improve how SpaceX operates
- Build prototypes to prove out key design concepts
- Own all aspects of software engineering and product development
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 4+ years of professional experience building software
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development

- Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar OO language
- Experience building single page web applications with modern frameworks
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, and designing agentic AI systems
