You'll design and implement core gameplay systems for an unannounced R&D product at Riot Games, taking technical leadership in complex projects. You'll make pragmatic decisions amidst uncertainty to deliver player-facing experiences that evolve over the long term. This role also drives the practical application of AI Agent capabilities in R&D workflows.

  • Design and implement core gameplay systems
  • Collaborate with design, art, and product teams
  • Optimize performance and stability iteratively
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve tools and workflows
  • Provide technical mentorship to the team

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • 6-8 years of game development experience as a core engineer or lead
  • Proficiency in C++ with solid engineering practices
  • Experience with Unreal Engine Gameplay Framework
  • Practical experience with AI Agent capabilities

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Master's degree or higher in Computer Science
  • Experience as technical lead on a shipped title
  • Deep knowledge of additional Unreal Engine modules
