Description

You will join Samsara as a Field Sales Engineer, helping modernize essential industries through IoT solutions. You'll engage with prospects, deliver technical demonstrations, and build deployment plans, directly contributing to safer roadways and reduced emissions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree from 4-year accredited university
  • Experience in field sales engineering or similar technical sales role
  • Strong understanding of IoT, hardware, and cloud infrastructure
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, proximity to international airport preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Become an expert on Samsara products (IoT, AI, computer vision) and articulate value to prospects
  • Deliver work products such as discoveries, demonstrations, value assessments, proof of concept implementations
  • Guide installers on best practices and build deployment plans
  • Write proof-of-concept scripts against open API to solve real-world problems
  • Act as liaison between product and sales teams, translate technical feedback, enroll customers in beta programs
