Description

You will lead a team of machinists and deburr technicians in a new world-class machine shop, producing high-precision parts for Starship/Super Heavy. You'll own production schedules, drive safety and quality, and help scale machining operations to support increasing launch rates.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 4+ years experience in manufacturing
• 5+ years CNC machinist experience preferred
• 3+ years leadership experience in manufacturing preferred
• Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift

Responsibilities

• Supervise machinists and technicians, including recruiting, mentoring, and training
• Track shop floor metrics to maximize delivery rate via high machine utilization and low cycle time
• Set and maintain production schedule to meet valve assembly demand
• Ensure employee safety through equipment assessments and training
• Support commissioning of CNCs and transition parts to high-volume production
