Description

You will design electrical panels and cabling for custom manufacturing equipment, lead prototype builds, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and transfer designs to production partners to drive innovative manufacturing solutions. This hands-on role requires full on-site presence in Austin, TX.

Requirements

• Experience in designing electrical panels and cabling for manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency with electrical schematic software
• Hands-on assembly and integration skills
• Ability to lead prototype builds and direct technicians
• Experience with documentation and training for design transfer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical panels, cabling, and integration schemes for systems with sensors, actuators, motion controls, cameras, and computers
• Utilize electrical schematic software to create detailed diagrams and layouts
• Direct a small team of technicians in assembling and testing first-article custom equipment
• Oversee transfer of designs and build processes to domestic partners for low-volume duplication
• Collaborate with mechanical, software, and optics engineers to ensure seamless system integration
