💼 About This Role

You'll establish and maintain a governance framework for model and data standards across Airwallex, enforcing regular monitoring to ensure compliance. You'll collaborate with Legal, Risk & Compliance teams, playing a critical role in responsible and ethical model use. This role offers high-visibility work with exceptional teammates in a global fintech.

🎯 What You'll Do

  • Create and maintain a comprehensive risk model register and model inventory.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce model governance policies and procedures.
  • Establish model risk appetite and performance validation standards.
  • Develop and enforce data quality and governance frameworks.
  • Communicate model risk and data governance findings to senior management.

📋 Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
  • 8+ years in model governance or data governance in fintech or financial services.
  • Proven track record developing and implementing model governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for model risk management.

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise governance tools like Collibra, Informatica, or Alation.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI and SQL.
  • Relevant certifications such as FRM or Certified Data Management Professional.
