💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain scalable data models for CIM Group's $35B+ portfolio, partnering with business stakeholders across Fund Accounting, FP&A, and Investments. Your core impact will be building enterprise data architecture foundations on Databricks Lakehouse using medallion architecture and multi-platform integration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data models.
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for analytical and operational use.
• Implement medallion architecture and optimize Delta Lake performance.
• Establish data modeling standards, naming conventions, and governance policies.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of dedicated data modeling or data architecture experience.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling (Kimball, 3NF, Data Vault).
• Hands-on experience with medallion architecture in Databricks Lakehouse.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools (ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar).

✨ Nice to Have

• Prior experience in financial services or alternative investments.
• Experience building data architecture from scratch in entrepreneurial environments.
• Certifications: Databricks Certified Data Engineer or Microsoft Azure Data Engineer.
